I know Melbournians love to complain about our weather but I love it. Just when I’m getting tired of one season along comes another. I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Atticus and I both had colds but I was still spoilt with brekkie in bed, cups of tea and a beautiful handmade card (with Daddy’s helped I suspect). Raoul also managed to get this beautiful photo between runny noses.
This year marks my third Mother’s Day since having Atticus. I know I say this often but it seems like he was born a few days ago. It also feels like he’s been in my heart and soul forever. I’m forever grateful that I have Raoul to capture him at such regular intervals. Each photo takes me back to that period in his life and brings back all the wonderful memories of that time.
So in honour of our 3rd Mother’s Day here are some of my most favourite photos of Atticus from the beginning.

I suspect anyone with a toddler shudders at the thought of coming up with a dinner that is actually eaten. I sometimes wonder what happened to my 1 year old that ate anything and everything. So I was thrilled when I won a copy of Veggie Smugglers at a recent Nifty Mums networking event at Babycinos Cafe.
Veggie Smugglers is packed full of yummy recipes with lots of vegetables. Tonight’s menu is meatloaf with scallop potatoes. Whoo hoo the best thing is I know it will get eaten.
