The Assembly Hall in Williamstown is co-owned by Jessica Bettenay (of Bettenay’s) and her business partner Sami Johnson offers an eclectic – and gorgeous – range of homewares, furniture and clothing.

Father’s Day is just around the corner and what better gift to give Dad than a beautiful portrait of his children. Some of you may have noticed some changes with our branding and website. Yes, we’ve had a makeover.
As much as we loved our original logo we had been thinking for a while it was time for a redesign, bringing it more into line with our focus on natural portraits and hand-crafted products. Luckily for us Raoul is a talented graphic artist as well as a photographer. So he set to work, pen in hand to create our new logo.
The original logo was designed in Illustrator and had a more streamlined feel. Raoul hand-drew the new logo to give it a slight hand-crafted feel. He also spent a lot of time looking at fonts. Oh how I love fonts. In fact I’m known to say a woman can’t have too many shoes, handbags or fonts. But I digress. Again we wanted a typeface that would refelct the unique hand-crafted feel of our business and so a script typeface felt right.
I find that when you’re on the right path things tend to click into place. In this instance they clicked easily and we knew we were on a winner. I just adore our new logo. What do you think?
